What is the most precious thing that people like to expect? They want to have a beautiful future. They like to dream about a future that free of the problems of the present. However, most people are not aware of how to dream or what to dream. Here comes the role of a dreamer. A dreamer with a worldview should not only dream for himself but the entire society. His dreams should get transferred to the world from where he comes. But who is a dreamer? A dreamer can be anyone- writer, poet, musician, architect, etc. Even a dreamer can be a person from politics also. However, the current political establishments are failing to produce politicians who are helping us to dream.
We need statesmen who
will be able enough to help us to dream. A statesman is different from a
politician. A politician can keep his power by just sloganeering or
implementing rules; he doesn’t have to help people to dream. However, the role
of a statesman is to help people to dream; to present a future that is unknown
to them, but they desire. Statesmen act as a mediator between people and their
dreams. You can easily differentiate between a statesman and a politician by
what they speak. A politician always blames the opposition. A statesman offers
something unknown to people. Politicians are happy about keeping things as they
are. However, a statesman always tries to change the norms. People prefer new
things, new ideas. And understandably, politicians fail to address that notion,
as they are fearful of change.
A statesman always
gives new hope to people to boost their life. However, the chance of failure is
much higher for a statesman than an ordinary politician. When a politician
fails, he fails his party, but when a statesman fails, he fails those who co-dream
along with him.
But still, people choose statesmen over politicians because statesmen allow people to bring a change in their life. History says that people always have chosen statesmen over politicians. Because people want change, people deserve change. It is the role of a statesman to help them to dream big.
